About World Stage USA

Every four years, something happens in this country that doesn't happen anywhere else.

A swimmer from California and a sprinter from Georgia and a soccer player from Pennsylvania all put on the same uniform. Families who never watch sports pull out lawn chairs and crowd around televisions. People who can't name a single club team suddenly know every member of the roster.

That's what American international sports does. It brings people together in a way that regular seasons and standings never quite manage.

World Stage USA exists because that feeling deserves more than four years of attention.

This site covers American athletes competing on the world stage year-round — soccer, track and field, swimming, hockey, gymnastics, and more. Not just during the Olympics. Not just during the World Cup. Every competition, every season, every athlete carrying the flag.

You'll find daily news aggregated from the best sources in each sport, live scores and results, upcoming fixtures, and a growing archive of historical records — everything you need to follow Team USA without bouncing between a dozen different sites.

I grew up as a track athlete, which is where my love for international competition started. Watching American sprinters and distance runners compete against the world taught me that these sports matter deeply to a lot of people who don't always have a place to follow them. This site is that place.

It's built by one person for now. The goal is simple — be the one-stop hub for anyone who cares about Americans competing on the world stage, whether that's the World Cup, the Olympics, or a swimming final on a random Tuesday in August that nobody else is covering.

Welcome to World Stage USA.
